Sunbathing

SHARED SPACES

No luxury vacation rental is complete without multiple places to hang out together, sunbathe, relax or just find a quiet corner for yourself.  The Jade House has it all.

Get some sun

Feel the equatorial sun on your skin poolside, with the sounds of the rainforest all around you and, if you look up from your book, breathtaking views of the Pacific ocean.

Shaded Areas

Chill out in the shade

Jade House is designed to provide multiple shady spots to enjoy being outside but avoid too much sun exposure.  While away the day in soft furnishings and hammocks without losing the spectacular views and soft ocean breeze.

Grab a drink

The Jade House has a large swim up bar with an ice machine, underwater stools and a premium bar top.  The bar is invariably the place to be at parties!

Or get one catered for you ;)

The Jade House has an indoor and an outdoor kitchen.  Inside is a commercial grade Viking stove and other high grade appliances, together with a large breakfast bar and high stools.  Outside is a high end BBQ grill and an iron skillet, perfect for stir-frys and paellas.

Outside dining

Dine outside

Overlooking the Jade House's 3+ swimming pools, an al fresco dining table is the perfect spot to enjoy an evening meal as the sun sets on the Pacific.

Dining inside

Dine inside

Seating 10-12 people, the magnificent guanacaste wood dining table was sourced from a fallen tree in the local area.  Perfect for a more formal dining experience, you can enjoy a home cooked or catered meal under the huge cathedral style roof above.

Balcony & views

Take in the view

With seating and shading on the top deck, you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the Pacific ocean, including the world-famous "Whales Tail" - this giant rock and sand formation not only has the distinct shape of a whale's tail, but is located in the exact spot where hundreds humpback whales congregate from August to October every year.

Spread out

The house's architecture is filled with huge, wide open spaces creating an airy open feeling, and allowing the soft breezes from the ocean and rainforest to move through the house.  This key feature of the house negates the need for closed windows, heavy drapes and air conditioning in the shared areas of the house, and promotes well being.

Shoot some pool

As a natural extension to the main living area, there's an area containing pool table to while away the evenings with friends.  No matter how competitive things get, there's a water wall to maintain a nice chill vibe.
